Search Coach and Search Progress in Microsoft Teams - an innovative approach to information literacy
Information literacy is an increasingly essential skill for people living in the digital age, and governments and organizations around the world are taking notice. In the US, New Jersey has signed legislation "establishing the requirement of K-12 instruction on information literacy" as part of a state-wide Student Learning Standards. Finland has had a head start - their nation-wide media literacy education program was rolled out back in 2016.
Microsoft is taking its own steps to support information literacy initiatives locally and internationally. Search Coach and its Assignments counterpart, Search Progress, are contributions to these efforts. Read this blog for an in-depth overview of features and benefits including videos.
